OUR PASTOR

Pastor Olayinka Daniel was born in the western part of Nigeria. Before being called into the lifetime service of Christ; she obtained a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at the New York Institute of Technology, New York in 1980.

After graduation, she returned to Nigeria and founded Queens and Kings International School which includes Pre-School, Elementary and High School education. She is a self-starting business entrepreneur who committed all when she gave her life to Christ in a ministry of RCCG in Sango Otta, Ogun State, Nigeria on November 27, 1994.

Mommy Daniel as she is fondly called by all started her work for Christ as a Sunday school teacher/coordinator in the Ministry in Nigeria before coming to the US in 1999 and was planted in Jesus House, Washington, DC as one of the Ministers in the mission.

She received her charge to plant a Church in Frederick, MD in 2002 following the vision of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The parish, RCCG New Covenant City Church, had its first site at a daycare center in Frederick, MD, and held its inaugural service on July 6, 2003.

Since then, the Lord has been faithful in bringing the Church to where it is today with a prayerful following of believers.

The Church’s theme “A Place Where Good Things Never Cease” is a ongoing phenomenon in the area.

Mommy Daniel believes that God called her to be a Pastor in America for a purpose. She is passionate about reaching out to those who are lost and in need of a way back from being destitute to a better life in Christ Jesus. This passion has propelled her to start the ministry called the City of Refuge.
