To establish a communication network between singles in different parishes.
  • To establish an information resource/sharing system for career development, financial planning, etc.
  • To develop and promote spiritual growth.
  • To provide a forum to address the struggles that single Christians experience inside and outside the church.
  • To provide counseling on Christian relationships.
Teen's Church

Children's Ministry

The RCCGNA Children’s Ministry/Youth ministry was inaugurated at the end of the Washington DC convention in 2000 by Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye. At that time, and for the following 5 years, the organization primarily assisted in the planning of the annual Children/Youth convention.

In the year 2005, the Children Ministry became a separate entity from the youth ministry to ensure a more effective organization. Both function under the existing RCCGNA leadership.

At present, as leaders in the Children’s Ministry, we are passionate about improving the quality of material and standards of teaching of our children, especially in the present environment we live in.

We are striving to make Children’s Church not only fun for all involved, but also realize that what and how we teach will shape the future of our children as Christians.

As a result of our passion, our present goals have broadened to include more effective training programs for our volunteers and improving the organizational structure amongst Children’s Ministries across all existing RCCGNA zones and thereby improving communication.

We have also more recently provided resource material manuals and are currently in the process of providing a unified curriculum for all RCCGNA Children’s Ministries. We are excited about what God will do in this Ministry!

The current leadership of the Children’s Ministry consists of Executive leaders and Zonal Representatives for each zone. We believe in unity and run our body as such. If you share our passion we welcome you to come on board! We also welcome your ideas and suggestions.

Vision/Mission Statement:

  • Our mission is to assist the volunteers and parents in RCCGNA to transmit the inspired teaching of God to our children in a way that they will ultimately be strong, confident and obedient followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 150

Evangelism and Outreach

The Evangelism Ministry provides the dual ministry of making deliberate and conscious efforts to preach the gospel of Christ to unbelievers and to also encourage and edify the body of Christ. The Follow-up arm of the ministry focuses on new converts in the congregation.

The department welcomes them with love and care, prays with them, explain to them how/why they have become new creatures in Christ, and provide them with first-hand church information to help get them established in Christ.

This ministry also follows up on existing members who are absent from church for a noticeable period of time.

The Outreach runs the City of Refuge ministry supporting the homeless in the city of Frederick. The ministry provides lunch meals to the homeless daily (Monday – Saturday).

Prayer Ministry

Every Christian has been instructed to put on the full armor of God [Ephesians 6:10] “and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints”- Ephesians 6:18.

Prayer is an essential element of a Christians’ life that is most often ignored and that many Christians find difficult to do. We must recognize that we all are the watchmen on the tower responsible for interceding on behalf of our families, churches, communities and the world.

Prayer Champions cannot substitute for an individual’s lack of communication with God, their role is to join their hearts in prayers with other Christians in the church when they present personal prayer requests before God- [one shall chase a thousand and two ten thousand]. Every Christian must develop the attitude of praying to sustain their journeys in this world with Jesus Christ.

Prayer Champions are dedicated to fasting and prayers not only for the individual but the church, community and the nation – identifying needs and crying to God in that regard. Like all Christians, they must live a life that is obedient to the word of God, because “if [we] regard iniquity in our hearts the Lord will not hear us” [Psalm 66:18]; developing a personal relationship with Him that allows them to receive revelations and prophecies.

Prayer Champions do not give themselves nor the Lord any rest, till breakthrough is achieved [Isaiah 62:6-7]. All Christians interested in building their spiritual lives should join this ministry.

Mission:

  • To stand as faithful watchmen [Ezekiel 3:17], evangelizing the world through consistent intercession; and building up the Christians’ spiritual lives by encouraging living a life obedient to the word of God and dedicated to waiting on Him through consistent fasting and prayers.

Vision:

  • A Christian Army dedicated to living a life of purity, developing a personal relationship with God and always interceding.

Goals:
(1) To inspire a love for prayers and fasting because the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective [James 5:16].

(2) To promote the need for Christians to live a spotless life [Romans 13:14] in demonstration of our love for God and as a criterion for living a victorious life.

(3) To encourage the development of spiritual gifts [I Corinthians 12:7-11; Romans 12: 6-8].
(4) Support the Evangelism and Missions Ministry [Acts 4:30; 5:12-16].

Membership Eligibility:
Completion of the following: Believers Class, Baptismal Class, and Workers in Training.
